Matrix Profect

The EasyInSmile Matrix Profect System is a disposable matrix-band-and-retainer assembly used to temporarily replace a missing proximal tooth wall during restorative procedures. Each band is preassembled inside a lightweight plastic retainer, eliminating the need to separately load a conventional matrix holder.

The integrated tightening mechanism allows the clinician to enlarge or reduce the band loop around the tooth. A sliding cervical deflector changes the angle of the band, helping improve adaptation around the gingival margin and support the formation of an appropriate proximal contact. Its tapered neck is designed to improve access and visibility while reducing obstruction inside the patient’s mouth.

The system is available in straight and curved configurations for narrow and wide teeth. Curved 4.5mm bands are marketed for premolars and children’s teeth, while 6.0mm wide bands are intended primarily for molars. Each variation is generally supplied as a 50-piece disposable pack.
