Orikam NEOEDTA Gel

NEOEDTA Gel is a silica-free root canal preparation gel manufactured by Orikam Healthcare India Pvt. Ltd. It is intended for chelation, lubrication and debridement during the chemical and mechanical preparation of root canals.

The 17% EDTA component chelates calcium ions and assists in removing the inorganic portion of dentin and the smear layer created during instrumentation. Its water-soluble gel base provides lubrication, helping endodontic files move more smoothly and reducing instrument binding during canal shaping.

The carbamide peroxide component creates an effervescent effect when used with water or sodium hypochlorite. This action assists in lifting pulp remnants, dentinal flakes and debris from the root canal system.
