Well-Root ST

Well-Root ST is a hydraulic bioceramic root canal sealing material manufactured by VERICOM Co., Ltd., South Korea. It is supplied as a premixed white paste in a preloaded syringe, eliminating the need to combine separate powder and liquid components before application.

The material is primarily based on a calcium aluminosilicate compound. The FDA clearance summary also identifies zirconium oxide as a radiopacifying agent, along with calcium sulfate dihydrate, titanium dioxide, inorganic glass, lubricants and thickening agents. It complies with the intended use of permanently sealing root canals following established endodontic procedures.

Well-Root ST requires moisture to complete its hydraulic setting reaction. VERICOM describes the product as having strong sealing performance, high alkalinity and biocompatible characteristics. It is commonly combined with a fitted gutta-percha cone to fill the prepared root canal system.
