MECCO HD Sensor

The MECCO HD Digital Dental X-Ray Sensor provides rapid chairside capture of high-definition intraoral radiographs without conventional film processing. Its direct-conversion APS CMOS technology produces detailed digital images that can be viewed and managed on a compatible Windows computer.

The included imaging software provides AI-assisted visualisation tools designed to support the clinician during image review. These features can highlight areas of interest and help improve the presentation of radiographic information, but they do not replace professional clinical interpretation or diagnosis.

Two sensor sizes are available. Size 1.0 is suitable for smaller mouths and many paediatric applications, while Size 1.5 provides a larger imaging area for general adult and paediatric workflows.

The ergonomic curved-back design supports stable positioning while helping reduce patient discomfort. Its IP68-rated housing provides protection against dust and water during approved cleaning and disinfection procedures.

For demanding daily use, the sensor is tested for more than 500,000 exposures. The reinforced cable is designed to withstand over 100,000 bending cycles and up to approximately 10 kg of pulling force under specified test conditions.
