GC Gold Label 9 Mini

GC Gold Label 9 Extra HS Posterior is a strontium-based, self-curing glass ionomer restorative cement manufactured by GC Corporation. It is formulated for durable posterior restorations and offers high compressive strength, good radiopacity, rapid setting and improved aesthetic translucency.

The material chemically adheres to enamel and dentin without requiring a separate bonding agent. Its tooth-like coefficient of thermal expansion helps reduce stress around restoration margins, while its fluoride-releasing and fluoride-recharging properties support remineralisation and help protect surrounding tooth structure.

The strontium-containing glass provides radiopacity for easier postoperative diagnosis and contributes to surface strengthening when exposed to calcium-containing saliva. Its fast setting characteristics help reduce chair time while providing sufficient working time for placement.
