MECCO Q8 Pro Curing Light

The MECCO Q8 Pro LED Curing Light is a multifunctional cordless device designed for the efficient polymerization of compatible dental composites, adhesives, sealants and other light-curable restorative materials.

Its multi-wavelength LED system operates across approximately 385–515 nm, supporting a broad selection of commonly used dental photoinitiators. The upgraded Q8 Pro provides an intensity range of approximately 900–3000 mW/cm², including a high-intensity setting for rapid 1-second curing.

Six working modes—Turbo, High, Normal, Ramp, Ortho and Check—allow the clinician to select a suitable curing pattern for restorative, orthodontic and caries-detection applications. The Ramp program gradually increases light output, while Check mode provides purple light to assist with caries and restoration examination.

The approximately 10 mm collimated lens helps distribute light evenly across the treatment area. Its ultra-low-profile metal head is approximately 8.5 mm thick and rotates through 360°, helping the operator reach posterior and difficult intraoral areas.

The charging station includes a built-in light meter, allowing the user to check the curing light’s output before treatment. An automatic compensation circuit helps maintain stable output as the rechargeable battery level decreases.
